I got it at TGIF’s. I think it was cranberry juice & Red Bull over crushed ice. Nope, no hangover. I was driving.
I’m trying to recreate it here at work with a Welch’s cranberry juice cocktail and Red Bull. It’s similar. No ice though. The ice made it.

nypinta: Interesting that the women hated it! I generally don’t drink the Red Bull in public because people poke fun, but now I don’t recall if any of my female friends like it. Well, that’s not true: I know that Leesa hates it. Also – what is this Red Bull Berry Blast of which you speak? Did you catch what was in it? And did you have a hangover?

Nastybear: but wait, do you drink more than two sodas a day? Because a Coke has 50 mg. of caffeine in it, so two are the equivalent of a Red Bull. Or are you referring to the Rock Star type drinks?

Me again. In an odd bit of synchonicity I went out to eat tonight with some friends at a place I haven’t been since High School (which is farther in my past than I’d like to admit) and on the menu was Red Bull Berry Blast. I had two!
Yum. But will I ever sleep again? Time will tell.

A few years back a Red Bull car showed up at my work place and gave out free samples. Odd thing was that all of the guys that drank it loved it and all of the women that had it hated it. To me, it tasted like a grape lollypop that was coated in salt. But damn, you make me want to give it another shot.
