Come in from the vacuum, pull up a hoverstool and stay a while.  I’m the Captain of this vessel, and my two crewmembers are here: BattleGate and Halcyon.  We have an Away Team that is currently Away (as they are wont to do), but they’ll come around and sit a while with us in time.

While you’re settling in I want to tell you a little about why we are here: we’d like very much to be your guide, at least for a short distance, because it pleases us.  For every collided particle that meets its fate, we’d like to be there with you.  Each time an awesome wizard battle destroys a mountain range, we’d like to be there with you.   When John Crichton (or possibly his clone) dies and makes you cry giant, messy boo-boo tears, we’d like to be there with you.  If you’ll have us, that is.

So!  Doesn’t it feel nice to get out of that sweaty suit?  We thought so.
